The non-profit association Praxis-Partner des Interdisziplinären Ökologischen Zentrums (IÖZ) der 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie Freiberg e.V. is an association of industrial companies, engineering offices and other private companies, foundations, research centres, authorities and regional economic development institutions as well as individuals.
The aim of the association is to promote interdisciplinary and environmental research and teaching at the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie Freiberg.
This goal is realised in particular through:
- supporting the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie in the integration of practice-oriented and labour market-relevant training content into academic teaching,
- providing professional practical experience through lecturers and specialist advisors,
- providing internships and research topics for theses,
- promoting students and young scientists,
- promoting joint research projects of the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie and external partners,
- promoting international research and training projects,
- the promotion of in-service training programmes at the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie,
- the promotion of conferences and symposia as well as the general public relations work of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Research Centre of the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie,
- the promotion of the integration of the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie into the regional economy,
- the promotion of the integration of the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie into the public cultural life of the city and district of Freiberg,
- the idealistic and financial support of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Research Centre (IÖZ) of the 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie Freiberg.
