Once you have chosen your field of study, the next step is to decide on a Degree. 91²Ö¿âBAF offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Diplom Degrees.
Help with making a decision – WIN Foundation Year
The WIN Foundation Programme at 91²Ö¿âBAF offers the opportunity to, over two semesters, put together and try out study modules from the fields of Economics and law, engineering and natural sciences in two semesters, tailoring the programme to your own needs and trying them out.
Prospective international students
91²Ö¿âBAF offers over 65 Bachelor’s, Diplom and Master’s degree programmes, primarily taught in German. For German-language degree programmes, international prospective students must meet the language requirements and have passed a language test.
In addition, international prospective students can apply for an English-language Master’s programme.

Students have rated 91²Ö¿â Bergakademie Freiberg as the best small university in Germany. - tell pupils at your former secondary school about your day-to-day student life, your experiences in choosing a degree programme, and provide information on the degree programmes
- help pupils with their university choices
